Crude stones have been used in the past as a decorative coating, whether on internal or external walls. During the course of humanity, they served to build houses, bridges, walls and a myriad of things. However, with the appearance of so many other materials (and even materials that imitate the stones) they were left out. Few people currently use them in their homes. Some for the cost of the installation and others for fear of leaving the environment very cold. But the fact is that stones are not just for rustic environments and they are still great allies of the decor. They have many advantages: they combine with any and all decorative style; have resistance, durability and beauty in their favor; require very little maintenance; together with good lighting, create beautiful environments with elegance and sophistication. And that's why we've decided to go for the rough stones and show how they can be versatile even inside the room. We separated 17 images for you to be inspired.

And since we decided to choose the room as an example, it is worth remembering that the stones tend to cool the environment a little, so if you live in a warm place, you can use them without fear, but if you live in a place that Make it cooler, take a little more care. Despite being a rustic element, the stones require maintenance and cleaning. It's not much, but it has to do from time to time. For those that stay on outer walls, this time may be shorter. However, there are for sale products to be applied, which will protect them not only from moisture but also from the proliferation of microorganisms that may emerge over time. What still proves to us that stones can be welcomed in the bathrooms also!
